Tax authority and creditors

A letter from the Dutch tax authority can be alarming, especially if Dutch is not your first language. We explain what it says, object if an assessment is wrong and help with a payment arrangement or agreements with creditors. Even when things are difficult, we calmly work out a solution with you.

What does it cost? For subscription clients, advice on this is included. Otherwise based on a consultation (€60 per half hour) or fixed price (excl. VAT).

What we do for you

  • Explaining letters from the Belastingdienst in your own language
  • Filing an objection to an incorrect assessment
  • Requesting a deferral or payment arrangement
  • Agreements with creditors and an overview of your finances
  • A plan to get your bookkeeping and payments back on track

Who it is for

For entrepreneurs who do not understand a letter, disagree with an assessment or are behind on payments.

How it works

  1. You send us a photo or scan of the letter
  2. We explain what it means and what the deadline is
  3. We make a plan and draft the objection or request
  4. We keep track of progress for you

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to object?
Usually six weeks from the date on the assessment. So do not wait too long and forward the letter right away.
How do I know a letter or message really comes from the tax authority?
The Belastingdienst never sends payment links by email, text or WhatsApp. Not sure? Send it to us first, or check Mijn Belastingdienst.

Shall we get acquainted?

Tell us briefly what you need. We reply on weekdays and Saturdays, usually the same day.
