Ukrainian entrepreneurs
Special rules apply to Ukrainians with temporary protection who work in the Netherlands. Answer three questions and see what applies to you.
Without temporary protection, your rights depend on your own residence permit. Contact us and we will look at what applies to you.
No TWV is needed for employment. Your employer must notify UWV in advance. You can start two working days after the notification. You have the same rights as Dutch employees, such as the minimum wage.
If you work self-employed, your client needs a TWV. According to the KVK, it is usually refused in this sector. Employment may be an alternative. Discuss your situation with us before you start.
As a self-employed worker you can register with the KVK, but your client must apply to UWV for a TWV before you start. Without a TWV your client risks a fine. We help with your registration and an explanation for your client.
